Ultimate Water Creations was founded on a simple, stubborn idea: a pool should look like it belongs to the land, not like it was dropped on top of it.
Since 1981, we've designed, engineered, and built some of Southern California's most ambitious water features, from vanishing-edge pools cantilevered over canyons to hand-carved grottos that have fooled more than one geologist. Our work is quietly installed behind some of the most private addresses in Los Angeles.
Don Goldstone, founder and licensed contractor, has led Ultimate Water Creations since 1981, mastering hydraulic design, structural engineering, and the craft of building water environments that feel alive. Though he leads one of the most decorated studios in the city, Don still works the daily activities of the company and personally manages every client.
Some of his projects take more than a year to produce, with intricacies most builders never attempt: swim channels, spa caves embedded with amethyst crystals, choreographed lighting, even the acoustics of falling water. Water safety is engineered into every design.
Most of his new work still comes the same way it always has, by referral, from clients, architects, and designers who've seen what he can do.
